Haggl (haggl.eu) is operated as an independent EU price comparison service by Shane Marchant (Sole Trader), based in Malta. VAT number: MT3297-5608. For privacy questions, email support@haggl.eu.

When you visit Haggl we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed. If you use search or preferences, we may store those interactions in cookies or local storage on your device.

If you email us, we process the content of your message and your email address to respond.

We use this data to operate the site, improve search and comparison features, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal data.

Short search terms that people recently searched may be shown on the home page as suggestions. They are never linked to who searched them, and product codes, long searches and unsuitable words are left out.

Haggl uses local storage on your device to remember preferences (language, country, and stores) and your cookie choice. We do not load Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or other non-essential analytics unless you explicitly allow analytics cookies. Retailers you visit may set their own cookies under their policies. Haggl uses affiliate links to retailer sites. Clicking product links may send you to a retailer with tracking parameters. When you click through to a store we count the click (the product, the store, where on the page you clicked and the time) without a cookie and without anything that identifies you, so we can see which stores and deals are useful. Product images on Haggl may include product photos from retailer affiliate programmes (including Amazon where we participate in those programmes), licensed product data feeds, Haggl-hosted copies of those permitted images, licensed manufacturer assets, or generic category placeholders. Images are shown for identification only and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

If you vote on a price, we set a small functional cookie (haggl_dv) and store a one-way hash (an irreversible code) made from your IP address and browser details, together with your vote, the product and the country. We never store your IP address itself.

We use this only to stop duplicate votes and to show vote counts. Votes are anonymous and are not used for advertising or profiling. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the feature.

Votes and their hashes are kept for 12 months, after which they can be deleted. You can remove your vote at any time, and you can contact us to have it deleted.

We retain logs and analytics for as long as needed for operations and legal obligations. Depending on your location (including the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
